Dear Family, Friends, and Clients,
Loving Touch Animal will have to set new guidelines for our appointments due to the restrictions asked of us at this time.
To keep all staff and clients safe, we will be following the CDC guidelines:
– If you are running a fever, or have someone in your household has a fever, call and reschedule your appointment.
– For your safety, the staff will be wearing a mask, caps, and gloves.
– When you arrive at your appointment, you will NOT be able to enter the building. Please let the staff know you have arrived by calling. (540-371-7729) A staff member will get the history and reason for the patient’s visit and then bring the patient into the hospital for the exam.
– Before anything beyond the exam is performed, you will be given an update on findings and an estimate for any services. A staff member will go over these with you.
– After the estimate is approved, we will perform the requested services. If there is in-house testing we will hold the patient till results are completed, the staff member will share results with you. You will be asked to stay in the parking lot for the duration of the visit.
– Once your visit is completed, A staff member will call you to complete the check-out/transaction and take payment. If you are paying by cash, a staff member will collect payment and return the change. If you are paying by credit card, we will process the credit card number over the phone and a staff member will bring out the receipt to sign. If you are paying by Scratchpay, we will process the payment online.
– Once the check out is complete, we will return the patient along with any medications that may be sent home.
– If you are coming to pick up medications/food, please call from the parking lot and we will process payments and bring the medications/food out to you.
As an additional note, medications and food are on limited orders. Please give us 5 business days to make sure that we can provide the items you need. If need be, we may need to go through our online service, Covetrus, and have the item shipped to you.
We understand that this will be interesting for all involved as we make the best of things during these difficult times. Please have patience throughout the whole process.
